Crazy For The Lovin'

(Alan Newbery)
Crazy For The Lovin’ 16/01/2009

I aint had no lovin’ since I don’t know when
When will get some of that sweet lovin’ again?
I’m crazy for the lovin’ I know my tongue wont split
When I say offered the world All I’d want is it

Saw a woman walking her little dog by the shore
In my mind I saw myself beggin’ her for more
Cause I’m crazy for the lovin’ and I find
I have to have regular lovin If I’m to have peace of mind

Oh for a time for lovin’ and lovin’ alone
I tell you honestly I’d give everything I own (for sure)
Oh for a time for lovin’ and nothing more
Sometimes I think that’s all I’m living for (good Lord)

The preacher says it’s trouble But I know that isn’t true
How can it be bad if it takes away the blues?
I’m crazy for the lovin And I don’t see why
I can’t have sweet lovin Til the day I die

Sittin’ in the dark watching images on a screen
So beautiful I could cry But they’re not the best I’ve seen
See I’m crazy for the lovin’ I just can’t explain
Why thoughts of naked lovin’ are always swimming around in my brain

I know I’ve lost the battle I know I’ve lost the war
I’ve no defence against the lovin’ All I want is more
Cause I’m crazy for the lovin’ It’s deep inside of me
I would never count not wanting lovin’ Any kind of victory
